The smash hit comedy The Graduate is returning!!
Theatre Windsor and 12.13 Productions bring back the popular production
May 30 and May 31, 2008 at The Chrysler Theatre.
A cult novel, classic film a quintessential hit of the sixties and a major stage success. Twenty-year-old Benjamin Braddock has graduated with top marks much to the delight of his proud parents and has a fine future ahead of him. That is until he finds himself seduced by Mrs. Robinson, one of his parent's oldest and dearest friends. Young enough to be her son and old enough to know better, it isn't long before Benjamin is helping Mrs. Robinson with her zipper.
The Graduate stars Norma Coleman as Mrs. Robinson and Christopher Lawrence Menard as Benjamin Braddock.
The cast also includes Ellen Coleman, Norma's daughter, who will be making her stage debut as Elaine Braddock. Returning to reprise their roles are Niki Richardson, Brian Murphy, Mark Baker, Kelly Tessier, Jay Tessier, James Neely, Ian Loft, Debbie Dufour and George Turton.
The Graduate has been adapted from the novel by Charles Webb and the Oscar award winning film, which starred Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft, by award winning author Terry Johnson. The production is directed by Mario Carnevale. Mario directed Lost in Yonkers in April 2007, which won him the Best Director Award at Theatre Windsor.
