It’s with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Margaret Bracewell. Margaret was not only one of the Founding Members of Theatre Windsor, she’s part of the foundation that this Company stands on. Always the first one with a smile or a welcoming word when she saw you, she treated everyone in the Company like they were her own. Theatre Windsor was hersecond Family and we remember and grieve like she was our own flesh and blood. However, mixed in those tears are all of the great memories we can all share. There are very few of us who cannot remember a warm moment with this great woman. And those in our Company who never had the pleasure of meeting her or working with her, will get to know her through the rest of us. She will have a lasting legacy on this Company through her actions on and off-stage, as actress, director, president, but most importantly, as a great friend. She will be missed. Margaret Bracewell will always be remembered.
